The upgraded version of the popular etyBLU headset contains etyBLU's highly-directional, noise-canceling microphone in a fixed-boom configuration, a design change that allows optimal antenna placement for improved range between headset and mobile phone. etyBLU2's noise-canceling microphone picks up the talker's voice within a narrow range and rejects background noise that comes from outside that range. The combination of an in-ear noise-isolating earphone that blocks out 98% of background noise and a directional microphone placed close to the mouth results in exceptional sound quality and clear communication at both ends of the conversation. The etyBLU2 is particularly suited for power mobile phone and home office users because it provides hours of comfortable wear. Unlike "cheekbone" Bluetooth headsets - which require the user to raise his or her voice so the sound is picked up by the microphone located far from the speaker's mouth - the etyBLU2 headset allows people to speak in normal or even low tones and be heard clearly, even when surrounded by noise. In addition, etyBLU2 listeners can hear conversations clearly without raising headset sound volumes to uncomfortable levels, so they don't experience ear fatigue.
