GritrOutdoors.com serves customers all over the world. We have developed expertise in international shipping and export compliance. We work closely with the Department of Commerce and the Department of State to assist customers seeking exports of restricted products. We also have relationships with all major carriers and have shipped goods to various parts of the world.

Below are some key points that all international customers need to be aware of:

GritrOutdoors.com sells some products that are highly regulated by US Departments of Commerce and State. Since laws and regulations change frequently, do not interpret any information on our product pages as legal advice. If you purchase any product from us and intend on taking it outside the United States, please consult the US Department of Commerce and US Department of State for additional information and guidance.  

By placing an order for any item from GritrOutdoors.com, the customer certifies that he or she will comply with every existing law, regulation and policy of the United States of America.

GritrOutdoors.com will not export any of the following products. The list below is subject to change and only covers general categories:

  • Firearms and firearm parts of any kind.
  • Reloading equipment and accessories.
  • Riflescopes, red dots, holographic sights, reflex sights, and laser sights.
  • Weapon-Mountable lights.
  • Optics mounting hardware (rings, bases, rails, etc).
  • Night vision equipment and night vision accessories.
  • Thermal imaging equipment and heat seekers.
  • Tactical hand-held lights.
  • Tactical knives.
  • Body armor, tactical helmets, helmet accessories, and shields.
  • Holsters.
  • Handcuffs and batons.
  • Tasers.
  • Pepper sprays.
  • Medical kits of any kind.
  • Items containing Lithium ion (Li-ion) (including lithium polymer (Li-Po)) and Lithium metal batteries.

We often get questions on which optics are ok to export; the list below are some categories that we can export!

OPTICS which are OK to ship internationally:

  • Binoculars and monoculars (except for thermal and night vision, digital binoculars and monoculars with night mode are OK).
  • Spotting scopes.
  • Telescopes.
  • Rangefinders.
  • Flashlights (except for weapon-mountable and tactical).

*Please note that any of the above that are built to military grade will NOT be exported*

Electronic Export Information (EEI)
(also known as Automated Export System (AES))

The Electronic Export Information (EEI), also known as Automated Export System (AES), needs to be filed when the value of the commodity classified under each individual Schedule B number is over $2,500 or if a validated export license is required to export the commodity. The exporter is responsible for preparing the EEI and the carrier files it with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) through the AES or AES Direct.
Your international order will not be shipped until we complete International Payment Verification and check the desired product for export compliance. Once again, we reserve a full right to cancel your order if it does not meet our export guidelines and policy.

 

Brand Restrictions

We may not be able to ship all products to all countries due to brand specific agreements and geographical restrictions. Our customer service team will notify you if we are not able to ship to your country based on brand restrictions.

International Taxes, Duties and Fees

Our shipping estimates DO NOT include any taxes, duties, custom fees or other expenses you may incur when your order arrives to your country of destination. By placing the order, you are solely responsible for these fees. Should you choose to reject your order and it comes back to us, any fees we are charged for the return shipment will be deducted from your refund.

International Shipping Timelines

Shipping timelines vary by country and select shipping method. On average:

  • International Priority shipments take between 10 and 14 days.
  • International Express shipments take between 3 and 7 days.

These estimates are for transit time only and do not include time associated with customs clearance.

International Payment Options

We accept credit card payments from countries supporting credit card verification process. Verified PayPal payments are also acceptable. For all other situations, you will need to pre-pay your order via wire transfer. Please contact our customer service team in advance.

International Refunds

International refunds are handled in the same manner as domestic refunds. Please see our Returns/Exchanges/Refunds for detailed information.

International Warranty

If your product fails past the first 30 days after receipt, you will need to contact us for instructions for warranty repairs. In some cases, you will ship the product to your local warranty center or you may need to ship the product back to us. We do not cover freight costs on warranty returns past the 30 day window. This is between you and the manufacturer of the product, although we will assist you in this process to the best of our ability.
