The BLACKVUE DR970X-2CH LTE Dual-Channel 4K Cloud Dash Cam is the flagship of the BlackVue dash cams with impressive 2160P Ultra HD picture quality and the usual reliable performance. The Full HD rear camera also gives you a view behind your vehicle.
With the numerous cloud functions you get everything out of the dashcam possibilities. Your videos can easily be transferred to a smartphone, tablet or notebook via WLAN. The overall package is rounded off by intelligent design, such as the touch button. The integrated LTE module gives you access to your dashcam anytime, anywhere via the cloud.
Premium CMOS 8MP sensor
The DR970X records super sharp 4K Ultra HD videos with 3840 x 2160 pixels in a 155° wide angle. This gives you optimal image quality day and night. The enormous difference between Full HD and Ultra HD: 4 times as many pixels and thus an extreme increase in detail, for example for license plates.
Modern H.265 video coding
More resolution means bigger files...unless you use better compression methods. High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC/H.265) is the standard for 4K video broadcasting and streaming. With HEVC you get great looking 4K videos but the same recording time as a regular Full HD dash cam.
Infrared rear camera
The rear camera of the DR970X-2CH also records smooth videos in Full HD at 30 frames per second. With a 140° viewing angle and the excellent night vision mode, you always have a good view to the rear.
WiFi + 4G LTE module
You can connect to your BlackVue using a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi. LTE allows you to access your BlackVue via the cloud from anywhere, anytime. You can live view, backup videos (or even automatically upload event recordings to cloud), receive push notifications, show GPS location, etc.
Insert a SIM card into the tray, turn on the BlackVue, then follow the steps in the Connect to Cloud menu of the BlackVue app. 1GB, 3GB and 5GB plans available. Payable monthly. Cancellable at any time.
Seamless pairing
Just connect to your dash cam without leaving the app. Turn on the dash cam and connect via the BlackVue app and follow the instructions. Whether you want to browse your dash cam's files and settings, or connect your dash cam to the cloud, the app makes everything easy and intuitive.

Over the Cloud is all about using your dashcam to keep you and your car connected. With it, you can connect to your BlackVue anytime, anywhere in the world. Enjoy remote live view and push notifications to your phone. Back up important videos to the cloud remotely. Play videos from dash cam or cloud storage and download them from anywhere. Enjoy two-way voice communication with the driver from the app via the dashcam's built-in speaker and microphone.
High quality microSD
Every BlackVue dashcam comes with an original BlackVue microSD card. We test our cards extensively before selecting them for inclusion in our products to ensure their performance is good and degrades as little as possible over time.
Easy video management with BlackVue Viewer
BlackVue Viewer (WINDOWS/MAC) is free to download and use. With it, you can easily change your BlackVue configuration settings and review recorded videos. Videos are displayed here chronologically and by type (Normal/Event/Parking) so you can quickly identify and archive important footage. You can also export video segments, remove audio, or export screenshots. With the BlackVue app, you can connect to your dash cam via WiFi to retrieve video on the spot.
Parking mode support
In parking mode, the dash cam monitors your vehicle while you're away and records video when it detects movement or an impact. The connection cable for connecting to the vehicle battery is already included (additional power with separate battery packs possible). The dash cam automatically switches to parking mode when the ignition is switched off. Voltage shutdown and timer can be set in the BlackVue app.
GPS functions
Log the speed and position of your videos.
Speed: Speed data is overlaid on the video (can be turned off in settings). You can choose whether this should be displayed in Km/h or Mph.
Position: You can visualize the location of your vehicle on the BlackVue Viewer map during video playback.
