The INTREPID INTERNATIONAL Cotton Lead Rope with Bull Snap is an essential part of your horse equipment. It is a great lead for around the barn or at shows. It is very sturdy and super soft on your hands. The lead rope is 10 foot long and comes with chrome plated bull snap. It is attached to the halter with a snap so that it can be added or removed as needed.
USAGE TIPS
- Walk with the horse, at its shoulder, not ahead or behind.
- Always lead a horse on his left side (your right side will be touching his left.
- Do not wrap the lead rope around your hand or arm.
- Do not ever leave a lead rope that is attached to the horse's halter dangling on the ground. If he startles and runs, he can step on the rope, and cause injury to himself.
- As you are leading the horse, stay away from the hindquarters of other horses; allow five feet between your horse and the other one.
