Evolution Gun Works manufactures high-quality Picatinny rail scope mounts for the Winchester Model 70. The mount is specifically designed for the Winchester Model 70 WSSM action with 0 MOA cant. Evolution Gun Works also offers Picatinny rails for Model 70 short action, long action, and WSM models. The long action scope mount is compatible with all Winchester Model 70 pre-64 and long action post-64 models.

Note: The Winchester Model 70 Coyote edition chambered in .243 requires the WSM mount.

The middle spread refers to the distance between the two middle holes, center to center, on the receiver. The middle spreads on Evolution Gun Works' Winchester Model 70 Picatinny rail mounts are as follows:

This mount comes standard with a bevel on both sides, making it ambidextrous.

Evolution Gun Works recommends measuring the hole spacing on the receiver to ensure it matches the published dimensions.

Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, providing flexibility for mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount and, in many cases, does not obstruct the use of factory iron sights. Evolution Gun Works' one-piece scope mounts are a reliable choice for hunters and tactical shooters.

The mounts are machined in Evolution Gun Works' shop using advanced machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sandblasted, and Type II anodized for long-lasting durability.

Installation: Evolution Gun Works recommends applying 20 inch lbs of torque and a drop of blue Loctite (available separately on their website).
