Product Info for EVOLUTION GUN WORKS HD Tikka T3 Scope Mount 80502
EGW Heavy Duty (HD) 20 MOA picatinny scope mounts for the bolt action Tikka T3 and Tikka T3x are made in the U.S.A. and fit all caliber Tikka T3 models. Tikka rifles produced before 2004 may require metric screws. EGW HD and Hunter series mounts are machined from 7075 T6 aluminum and are hardcoat anodized for a durable finish that can withstand whatever is thrown at them.
Picatinny rails are a great addition to hunting rifles and precision rifles. Picatinny scope mounts allow you to use weaver or picatinny rings. There are multiple advantages of a one piece base over a two piece base or dovetail rings. One of the advantages is a one piece base increases accuracy by keeping the rings precisely aligned. Another advantage is a one piece picatinny base allows the user to quickly exchange optics between hosts, due to the standardized spacing of picatinny spec.
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. Their one-piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings.
EGW machine these in their shop using one of their machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type III anodized for long lasting durability.
