The sole of this shoe is not only comfortably plush, but is also made from a blend of natural and recycled materials, featuring a wood-based midfoot shank that improves the lateral stability and helps with energy return as you push off towards the next shot. The upper material does a good job of creating a nice contoured feel and out of the box comfort, while also giving the support and ventilation needed during those long grinding matches.
Traction and durability comes from a unique split-surface outsole, where the lateral side is designed like a racing tire to maximize contact surface (think full speed into the turns) and the medial side has a wave-bone pattern providing multi-directional grip and easy pivoting.
