    Not great

Posted by Curt Beachy on Aug 26th 2024

These are a nice looking traditional style boot, the bison leather is very nice. However they are not built tough for an actual work boot. I love the leather but the sole is cheap inside and out. The insole is a flimsy foam which feels ok but in just a few weeks it starts peeling chunks of foam out in the arch area where the ball of my foot rubs across when pulling them on. The outsole wears down rather quickly and the sole is stitched all the way through so the stitches wear off the bottom and it doesn't take much to separate the sole. The outsole material also stretches over time as you walk it so it soon protrudes slightly out beyond the welt at the toe and with the stitches worn off if you catch your toe on something it pulls the outsole right off and now you have a gap at the front and it's downhill from there. If you need a nice boot to wear around town these are great, but if you're using them for a work boot they don't hold up very well. I've worn mine for work about 4 months and this is my experience. They aren't junk yet but with the problems I described they will probably find there way to the dumpster in another few months, possibly sooner.
