The FLEXCUT 70 deg X 1/8" Palm V-Tool is a fixed handle palm tool with a 70° V shape and is 1/8" wide (3mm). It is about 5" overall with a 3" steel blade. The Flexcut gouge features a flexible spring steel shank that conforms to the contours of your projects surface to give you maximum control over every cut.
The wide variety of shapes it can attain makes this such a diverse tool. When the contour of the surface changes, the angle of the handle remains almost the same. The Flexcut V-Tool can be used for outlining, performing detail work, and adding depth to backgrounds. The V-Tool is perfect for drawing lines to shape unique features in your carving.
The Flexcut Palm gouge is shorter in length with the cutting edge closer to your controlling hand for a much tighter control over your carving project. The handles are constructed from Ash wood for a more ergonomic and comfortable fit preventing fatigue.
