    Quality mounts, one small flaw

Posted by Patrick on May 10th 2024

Rock solid mounts, only come in one height that I am aware of....it worked for my 3-10x40 mm scope on my Sako 85 bringing it close enough to the barrel to suit me. The ring screws are made of a pretty soft material, couldn't get the 15 lbs of torque I wished for without beginning to strip them. Sure wish Sako would use a harder material for these. Forums say I am not alone in this observation. All in all I am happy with them. They seem a bit more secure on the dovetail than the Leupold ring mounts they replaced.
