A longtime favorite of U.S. Special Forces groups, the ESS Profile TurboFan Black Goggles (740-0131) is better and tougher than ever. Following a series of vast improvements, the Profile TurboFan represents one of the most effective night-vision-compatible weapon against lens fogging.
Powered by a single AA battery, the TurboFan system draws fresh airflow in through the lower edge of the goggle frame and forces humid air out the top at around 13,000 rpm. Even when perspiration or temperatures are extreme, this two-speed system will exhaust humidity and dramatically reduce lens fogging for over 150 hours of continuous operation (low speed).
This improved fog-elimination system features the robust PowerPod battery pack, now with a push-button switch and repositioned near the back of the head for snag-free operation. New technology provides constant fan speeds as battery power diminishes, and an "Auto-off" timer shuts down the fan system to preserve battery life if accidentally left on. Water-resistant casing facilitates all-weather operation.
The extra-thick, 2.8mm polycarbonate lenses offer maximum impact protection and 100% UVA/UVB filtration. ESS' advanced ClearZone FlowCoat lens treatments provide the optimal combination of anti-scratch coatings on the outside of the lenses and anti-fog coatings on the inside.
Safety Standards: This Profile TurboFan goggle is compliant with U.S. MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-32432, ANSI Z87.1?2015, CE EN 166 and U.S. Federal OSHA.

ESS TurboFan Goggles
Congratulations! You've just found the only pair of no-fog goggles that actually works! Yeah, I know these goggles are crazy expensive. And, I know, for this price, they had just better work. You aren't any different from me. You've already tried every lousy pair of protective eyewear out there, and you've never found anything that works. You've tried enclosed goggles with ventilation holes, you've tried open-air glasses, no-fog ski goggles, scuba mask, face shields and no-fog coatings. They've all been ineffective or impractical. And what did you do when they fogged up? You took them off and put them aside. And that's exactly when that little piece of crud fell into your eye, didn't it? Then what did you do? You cussed, didn't you? Like I said, you aren't any different from me. Listen, stick a crowbar in your wallet and put this crap to an end. These goggles are cheaper to buy than the cost to fix your eyes when something serious happens. I've been using these goggles for over a month, and they never fail. I never hesitate to reach for these goggles and put them on. I've used them in different environments and in different levels of physical activity, and they have never fogged up. Well, there was that one time when I forgot to turn the fan on, but then I turned on the fan to high speed, and the goggles cleared in less than a minute. I've used these goggles when cutting onions, and yeah, the fan sucks up some of the juices, but it's still somehow better than nuthin'. Be careful when using these in a corrosive environment. Your mileage may vary in this one instance. These things just work. I always try to buy American when I can, and it's just gravy these things are American Made. Do yourself the biggest favor and buy these things.
