This characteristic is measured with the help of a Hydrostatic Head which shows how tall a column of water the fabric can withstand before water starts to seep through. With the industry minimum standard being 1500mm HH, Gill has gone above and beyond to provide their apparel with 5,000 to 20,000mm HH, ensuring the protection against the harshest conditions. Breathability
