What began as a mere dream turned into one of the world's premier bluewater sportfishing charter operations. Nomad Design is the fruit of the successfully-launched Nomad Sportfishing Adventures - a fishing operation based in the blue and pristine waters of the Coral Sea. The idea took several years to come to life, but the result exceeded any expectations. 

The founder of the company, Damon Olsen, was always extremely passionate about everything connected with sport fishing. Having founded a fishing operation base, he soon realized the necessity for high-quality tackles to supply visitors with. The fish that dwells beneath the waves of the Coral Sea is by no means a regular catch and requires only the best gear to be caught. With his background in engineering, Olsen began researching and developing new tackles and lures that would match the vigorous predators of Australian waters.

Decades of observing fish, learning their behaviors and habits ensured the myriads of ideas waiting to be put into action. But the final product needed to match the reputation Nomad Sportfishing Adventures has earned. It took five years of learning the art of making lures, sourcing quality materials, and cooperating with the best manufacturers for Olsen to launch the first models onto the Australian market in 2015. 

The success was immediate, and the demand kept growing. The following year Nomad Design Brand was established, and tackle began selling internationally. Today, Nomad Design lures and tackle are considered one of the premium quality products on the fishing market.

The variety of fish, which can be found in the waters of the Coral Sea, requires dozens of different lures. Nomad Design developed several series of lures designed for specific kinds of fish. But these tackles are not restricted to salt-water dwellers only - they can be implemented anywhere in the world where there is water, both salt and fresh.
