The thickness of the pad is reduced where the bars of the saddle rest in order to create a cut-out area, and then Air Ride technology is incorporated in the thinner space for optimal shock absorption and support. The pad is constructed from 100% wet pressed virgin wool felt, which is soft but doesn't compress over time. The pad's contoured spine provides an anatomically correct fit, and the channel down the spine allows for air flow. A cutout underneath the genuine wear leathers offers close contact.
