Neoprene meets proven fabrics used in outdoor clothing in the lamination process, and the result is clothing that works as a system. A micro-fleece interior traps warmth and wicks moisture, a thin neoprene core shields you from wind and water, and a nylon exterior treated with durable water repellent provides extra water protection.
The Stormr jackets and bibs with Neoprene Core Technology also feature positive buoyancy of up to 10 pounds that will help you increase your floatation in case of emergency.
The Stormr Stykr jackets, bibs, and gloves that utilize the NCT were revised in 2019. The modern Stykr jackets and bibs are 25% lighter, feature 20% more stretch, and use low-pile fleece.
All Stormr bibs and jackets feature 100% waterproof seams, glued, blind-stitched, and thermal-bonded with tape.
For mild weather, the company makes lighter-weight clothing using proprietary VAPR (Variable-stretch Advanced Performance Raingear) Tech. The shell of the VAPR clothing is a breathable, windproof, and waterproof layer with highly stretchy neoprene panels for an increased range of motion.
