TAG Safari
The story of the company starts in Zimbabwe. It’s a country in the southern part of Africa known for its diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes, which hundreds of people from all over the world come to explore every year. In the 1990s, the founders of TAG Safari were of the persuasion that only trade, not aid, would really help Africa and particularly Zimbabwe to raise and flourish. Businesses give people jobs, help uplift employees’ families, develop a proactive mindset, and provide sustainable economic growth in the country.
By 2006, TAG Safari employed a hundred Zimbabweans. However, due to economic upheaval, war, and restrictions, the company had to move to Houston, Texas, where it operates nowadays. Although TAG Safari is no longer based in Zimbabwe, it has found ways to support developing communities around the world.
