The Mil-Tec Cotton Ripstop Boonie Hat is a field hat designed in accordance with the specifications of the personal equipment of U.S. Army soldiers. To ensure good ventilation of the head, the Boonie Hat has been equipped with four holes with mesh, further protecting against the entry of insects. The wide, padded brim provides effective protection from the sun and rain.
The hat is sewn from airy cotton reinforced Rip-Stop mesh. Above the brim is sewn strap, thanks to which handy accessories can be attached to the hat. The fastening lines ending in a plastic trope allow for a perfect fit to the wearer's head.
WASP I is an innovative line of Phantomleaf camouflage patterns designed specifically for Mil-Tec. Phantomleaf camouflage patterns are created through advanced digital image analysis of the terrain in which the variant is designed to provide camouflage.
The WASP I Z1B variant will work best in rocky areas with low vegetation cover, such as tundra or parts of mountains above the tree line. It will also find use in those cities and industrial sites where concrete and steel structures predominate. It also retains its effectiveness with partial snow cover.
