K2 WOMEN'S ALEXIS 84 BOA INLINE SKATES
The 84-mm wheels are probably the most versatile skate wheel size on the market. Whether you're new to skating or an advanced skater, the Alexis 84 BOA offers everything you could possibly need. The tried-and-tested upper sits comfortably on the foot while being breathable. The aluminum frame with its more direct power transmission ensures a stable and agile ride. The F.I.T. 84 BOA stands out from the competition with the award-winning BOA locking system that quickly and easily encompasses the entire foot. All our K2 Alexis models are perfectly adapted for narrow feet and low footbeds. The cuff has also been shaped for lower calf coverage. Get closer to your fitness goals thanks to the wide range of sophisticated details of the K2 F.I.T. 84 BOA.
WHAT SIZE SKATES SHOULD I BUY?
K2 Skates makes several series of skates, with several models in each Series. Each series and model is intended to meet the performance needs of a specific target skater.
CORRECT SIZE:
Stand with your skates laced and your heel snug in the heel cup. Your toes should just barely feather the end of the toe box. Then bend forward into a skating stance. Your toes should pull back slightly from the toe box. Cramped toes are bad, but so are loose, sloppy skates. Sizing is a preference; however, a snug fit enables a better response from your skates.
WRAP:
You want an even yet snug fit. To achieve this fit, adjust your laces and/or power straps to alleviate pressure and spread support evenly over your entire foot.
FLEXIBILITY VS. SUPPORT:
Both are important but in different places. Forward flex is critical to maintaining the right skating stance: knees bent, with shoulders and head centered over the skates. Lateral stability, on the other hand, is crucial for a powerful, comfortable stroke.
