The SLX low-profile reel incorporates a compact design comparable to a 70-sized reel, but the reel's 150-sized spool has enough capacity for 135 yards of 30-pound PowerPro to provide anglers needed line capacity. A longer 45mm handle offers added power and works in conjunction with the three available gear ratios - 6.3:1, 7.2:1 (HG) and 8.2:1 (XG) - to allow anglers to find a model that meets their desired fishing style by working baits slow and methodical with the 6.3:1 option, or with pure speed to cover water quickly utilizing the 8.2:1 gear ratio model.
