The Shimano Tiralejo Surf Spinning Rod is built with an all new proprietary construction type called C4S which utilizes a high-modulus blank and wraps four outer layers of 90-degree graphite.This results in an increase in hoop strength without sacrificing sensitivity.
The rod was specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Shimano Ultegra XTD and Ultegra Ci4+ surf reels (sold separately).
