The COBY Wireless TV Speaker lets you hear again the dialogue of your favorite shows and local news broadcasters at a volume you'll enjoy while your neighbors won't complain. This simple-to-use wireless TV speaker connects to either your TV or cable box by naturally connecting the base via an analog or optical audio cable (cables provided with the speaker). Note: If your TV has the sound settings set to Dolby or another format, your speaker may not function properly. You must change the sound output to PCM or Optical audio.
Remove the base from its transmitter dock and you can now place the wireless speaker next to your couch, lazy boy, or nightstand (up to 100 feet range). It works independently from your TV's volume, so you can turn the TV volume down or completely off. This model features a built-in 2500mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery that has up to 8 hours of playtime. Compatible with all TVs, including the newest Smart TVs with Bluetooth connection with your device (Bluetooth Mode).
You can also connect to your TV using HDMI cable using Coby's HDMI converter (sold separately). You may also connect to streaming video services that output Dolby Digital audio signals such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, Hulu, HBO Max, CBS All Access, Peacock, YouTube TV, Sling TV, The Roku Channel, and many more by using our Dolby Digital converter (sold separately).
